The Face of Hunger has changed

We live in times of uncertainty. It surrounds us. It overwhelms us. It creates situations of insecurity and instability.

Research tells us that food insecurity and health issues (physical and emotional) go hand-in-hand. For that reason, Bread of Life Community Services and Food Pantry are here to help.

Whether one time or continual, we are ready to lend a hand. We distribute food twice a month, on the following schedule:

• The first Friday following the first Wednesday of the month. Find the first Wednesday of the month and that following Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM we are open for distribution.
  *Note* From 10 AM to noon is seniors only (60+).
• The third Wednesday of the month from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Due to COVID-19, our distributions are being done as drive-thru only. No walkups are allowed. Please line up in your car down the service road. We ask that you do not block off the entrance points to Texas “T” and Exxon.

Please follow our lot attendants’ instructions as you pull through the parking lot. Have your photo ID ready to present when asked. We will work as quickly as possible to load your food and get you on your way. You can help us tremendously by ensuring your trunk is cleaned out and there is enough space for the food you will be given.

If this is your first time visiting us, you will need to bring with you, a photo ID and proof of your physical address.

**Note** The Commerce Food Pantry distributes food each week on Thursday from 2 PM to 4 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Commerce. You can find out more from their Facebook page.
